[PICKLES] Franchise Territory
At [PICKLES], we are committed to supporting our franchisees while ensuring fair opportunities for growth and success. To maintain balance and avoid internal competition, we have established the following territory management guidelines:
Exclusive Territory Rights
- Each franchisee is granted exclusive rights to operate in a defined territory.
- Territories are determined based on population density, market demand, and geographic considerations to ensure ample opportunity for success.
What Happens If Multiple People Want to Franchise in the Same State or City?
- Defined Territories Within Cities:
- Large metropolitan areas may be divided into smaller territories (e.g., neighborhoods or districts) to allow multiple franchisees to operate successfully without overlapping markets.
- Example: In Atlanta, one franchisee may manage markets/events in Midtown, while another focuses on Buckhead.
- Approval Process for Overlapping Interest:
- The first approved franchisee receives priority in selecting their territory.
- Additional franchisees must agree to operate in non-competing areas.
- Event-Specific Operations:
- For citywide events or farmers’ markets with high demand, franchisees may collaborate under an agreement to represent [PICKLES] collectively.
Territory Expansion
- Franchisees may request to expand their territories if they meet performance benchmarks and show the capacity to manage additional markets or locations.
- Expansion requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may involve an additional fee.
Key Benefits of Defined Territories
- No Internal Competition: Franchisees have exclusive access to their assigned areas, ensuring fair opportunities.
- Better Market Focus: Each franchisee can develop strong relationships with their local customer base.
- Clear Boundaries: Eliminates confusion or disputes over which franchisee serves which areas.
