Pickle of the Month Club: What You Get Each Month

A pickle of the month club is exactly what it sounds like: a box of pickles that shows up every month, so your fridge never runs dry and you get to try flavours you would never have picked off a shelf. What is in each monthly box?

Six full-size jars

Every box holds six of our 17 oz glass jars. These are the same full-size jars we sell individually, not sample sizes.

Flavours chosen for you

We hand-pick each month's mix from our 40+ handcrafted varieties: dill classics, bold heat, sweet surprises and seasonal drops. To give you a feel for the range our flavours come from:

• Sour: from The Dill Chips (our least sour, with coriander and lemon-lime zest) to The Vintage (medium, classic pickling spice and crushed bay leaf) to The Power Sour (our most sour).
• Spicy: anything named "Spicy" is a 3 out of 5 with habanero, and The Ghost Pickle is a 4 out of 5, the only jar that stings.
• Sweet: The Bread and Butter, with brown and white sugar and a cinnamon pickling spice, and The Heat and Sweet with red jalapeños.
• Seasonal: some flavours only appear for part of the year. The Grape Pickle, for example, is our November to December holiday pickle.

The monthly box is listed at $99, and members get 15% off every box. That is the deepest subscriber discount we offer.

Delivery

One box ships every month, and shipping is free on every box.

Commitment

The club is a 12-month membership: one year of pickle mail. The year-long commitment is what earns the full 15% on a box we curate for you.

How to make the most of six jars a month

Six jars sounds like a lot until you start using them. A few ideas from our own kitchens:

• Do a monthly tasting. Open two or three new jars together, set out cheese and crackers, and pick a favourite of the month.
• Keep a board jar and a cooking jar. One for snacking, one for chopping into salads, sandwiches and tacos.
• Save the brine. A splash in a vinaigrette, a marinade or a Bloody Mary uses every last drop.
• Share one. A jar makes an easy hostess gift or a thank-you for a neighbour.
