Made in Atlanta: The Story Behind Georgia's Award-Winning Pickles

Atlanta Pickles started with a simple idea: pickles should taste like something made by hand, not something engineered for a warehouse shelf. Every jar we brine today still follows that idea.

Georgia-grown, start to finish

We source our cucumbers, peppers, tomatoes, and produce from growers close to home in Georgia. That means shorter time between harvest and jar, which is a big part of why our pickles come out crisp instead of soft.

Recognized for it

In 2024, our Banana Peppers Garlic Pickle was named Flavor of Georgia's Best Pickle — a statewide competition judged on taste alone. It's the kind of recognition that validates what small-batch brining is supposed to deliver: a better jar, not just a cheaper one.

40+ flavors and counting

What started as a handful of jars has grown into a full lineup: tangy classics, fiery favorites like our Horse Pickle and Spicy Garlic, sweet surprises like our Grape Pickle and Strawberry Lemonade Pickles, and a full collection of pickled vegetables beyond the classic cucumber.

Still handcrafted, still local

Every jar is still 79% lower in sodium than typical store-bought pickles, made with no artificial preservatives, and packed in glass — the same standards we started with.
