The Vintage 17 oz jar by [PICKLES], a classic pickle ready to serve

You have a jar of [PICKLES] (or a whole box of them). Now what? Here is everything you need to know about storing our pickles, plus our favorite ways to serve them so every jar gets finished.

The Vintage: a classic pickle for the table
The short version: unopened jars are shelf-stable for up to two years, so store them in the pantry. Once opened, keep them in the fridge with the lid on.

How to store our pickles

Unopened: the pantry is fine

Every 17 oz jar comes with a resealable lid and keeps for up to two years unopened. That makes our jars easy to stock up on, and easy to buy early for gifts. Keep them somewhere cool and out of direct sun.

Opened: into the fridge

Refrigerate after opening and keep the pickles under the brine. Always use a clean fork or tongs, not fingers, so the jar stays fresh. Serve them cold for the best crunch.

Tip: finished the pickles but not the brine? Sip it, or use it as a splash in a Bloody Mary. Or skip the jar and buy The Pickle Juice by itself.

How to serve them: our favorite ideas

On a board

A pickle is the bright, crunchy bite every charcuterie or cheese board needs. Mix a sour jar like The Vintage, a sweet one like The Bread and Butter and a pop of color like The Carrots. See bold pickles for charcuterie boards and the Thanksgiving pickle board.

With burgers, sandwiches and fried chicken

The Dill Chips on burgers, The Kosher Dill Spears next to a deli sandwich, and The Green Tomatoes on a fried chicken or pulled pork sandwich.

At a party or tailgate

Set out three or four open jars with toothpicks and let guests graze. Our tailgate pickle spread and Friendsgiving pickle tray show you how, no cooking required.

In the glass

Garnish a Bloody Mary with The Zesty Okra or The Horse Pickle, or pour The Pickle Brine for the mix.

Straight from the jar

Honestly the most popular way. The Power Sour fans know.
